Having labeled the communist-ruled West Bengal state as ‘one of the most investor-friendly states’, Tata will set up a plant there with an investment of 10 billion rupees, to churn out the cheapest five-seat family wagon for India.
Production will begin after 2 years, for which it will displace Maruti Udyog Ltd as producers of the cheapest cars in India. The car will fall well below 100,000 rupees ($2,200), and is expected to create about 10,000 jobs at the plant and vendor chains.

Hi Gordon! I undestand your doubt. However, I am gald to inform you that TATAs are one of the most reliable auto builders of India. All the other vehicles they have produced as far, have not received any complaints.
